COMPETITION

General Rules:
Competitors may shoot either Field or 3D, NOT both. Site rules apply. Males and females compete separately. NAA/NFAA membership is not required for BSG.

WISCONSIN AND ILLINOIS RESIDENTS WELCOME.

 

Format:
Field - Regulation 4-color 122 cm NAA Field

Yardages
Adult & Young Adult: 40, 50 & 60 yards
Youth: 30, 40 & 50 yards
Cub: 10, 20 & 30 yards

3D - Center 12 style 3D targets. No speed restrictions. The Badger State Games adhere to NFAA regulations.  28 targets shot both days.

 

Definitions: see below or visit NFAA
No crossbows allowed in archery.

Freestyle: any type of bow, sights, arrows, stabilizers, and magnification

Bowhunter: 12"stabilizer, 5" sight extension, sliding sights will be allowed, no magnification. (3D bowhunter: any sight extension; also separate fixed and slider classes for adult and sr. men.) No speed restrictions. See website for details. 3D: all cadets shoot any equipment; all youth, juniors and women shoot release or fingers (any equipment), or traditional.

Olympic Freestyle: equipment must conform with Olympic rules established by NFAA.

Pro (Donation, non-medal): for those Wisconsin athletes who do not meet BSG eligibility rules.

NASP: National Archery in the Schools Program.  Shooting distances 20, 15 and 10 yards.  NASP targets and equipment will be provided.
